Your data, plainly.
What we collect when you book a slot, why, and how long we keep it. Last updated 4 November 2026.
01
Who we are
Europe Brand Design (europeanbrand.design and @europebranddesign on Instagram) is run by BS-Haus, a company based in the United Kingdom. BS-Haus is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions, requests and complaints go to howdy@bs.haus.
02
What we collect
When you book a slot: your studio name, Instagram handle, email address, company name and VAT number, and the project you send us — its title, link, caption and images.
When you pay: you pay through a link from our payment provider. They handle your card or bank details; we only see that the payment arrived, the amount and the reference.
To keep the site working and stop spam, our servers see your IP address and browser details. We use the IP address to limit how many requests one visitor can make.
03
Why we use it
To review your request, run the post and tell you what's happening. This is needed to provide the service you asked for.
To invoice you and keep accounts, because the law requires it.
To protect the site from abuse, which is in our legitimate interest.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising or add you to a mailing list.
04
Who else handles it
Vercel hosts the site and stores the images you upload. Neon runs our database, in Frankfurt. Resend delivers our emails.
Our bank's payment provider processes payments.
Work we approve is published on Instagram, which is run by Meta. Our accountant sees invoice details.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the UK or EU, it is protected by an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
05
How long we keep it
If we pass on a request, or it isn't paid for, we delete its images after 90 days. Images uploaded for a request that was never sent are deleted after 30 days.
Booking and invoice records are kept for six years, as UK accounting rules require.
Work we publish stays on the feed unless you ask us to take it down.
IP addresses used for spam limits are deleted within two days.
06
Cookies and your browser
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to accept.
While you book, your progress is saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can come back to it. It is cleared when you send the request, and never leaves your device until you do.
07
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email howdy@bs.haus and we’ll reply within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority where you live.
